Seven squares of progressively smaller size are interlinked: each square is linked with the next larger and the next smaller square. The squares are alternatingly black and grey. Each square has eight small holes, four in the corners and four in the middle of the sides. Through these holes, bent and twisted pieces of metal wire can hold the squares in chosen positions.
