CONCENTRATION (in ppbv)

Syntax:

CONCENTRATION eeee [nnnW|nnnE] [nnnN|nnnS] [nnnHPA]

Purpose: to fix the tracer concentration to the value given by the floating point number eeeee at the location defined by the coordinates. The concentration is given in ppbv.

The pressure coordinate is optional, default is the surface.

The concentration can be fixed in maximum 100 grid boxes.

The coordinates are shifted to the nearest grid-box.

Examples:

Fix concentrations to 100 ppbv at two locations:

CONCENTRATION 100 132E 53N

CONCENTRATION 100 145W 42S 100HPA

Too investigate the circulation, one might use:

START_CONCENTRATION 10

LIFE_TIME 1000.0

CONCENTRATION 10 5E 45N 1000HPA

CONCENTRATION 10 5E 35N 1000HPA

....etc....

OUTPUT MONTHLY LATLON 1000HPA

Default: no concentrations fixed.
