Antenna's like these are intended for television reception in area's without cable TV, like in rural regions and camping places. They are good to improve reception for radio's and TV's with moderate sensitivity. I connected it to my Philips B2X12A and found that FM stations could be received clearer and easier. On the Philips 50IC361, however, I found that I can make the S-meter give a higher reading, but observed no noticeable improvement in reception. The IC radio already performs well on weak signals.
