The Design
With a speaker the size of a quarter, and probably the same cost as well, it is a miracle this machine gives sound at all. Again, here I am far from sure of the dating, again because radios like these were sold over a decade or more.

Needed replacement of the volume control. Misses the original tuning knob: a transparant circular object the shape of a Coke bottle bottom.
