The Design

The brand name is a shorthand for the name of the founder, E.K. Cole. This is an ACDC radio, which means that it has no power transformer, but the power supply directly rectifies the mains voltage. It is quite unusual to have these with the FM band.

Disposed	Sold 6/2002.

This Object

Got it in exchange for some transistor radios. The grille cloth has some stains, but the condition of the bakelite is very good and the radio plays fine.
