The Design

Most Grundigs sound quite good, and so does this one. It has two tone controls, for bass and treble seperately, on top of a three position switch (Jazz, Orchestra, Speech).

What about the Grundig type numbers. Is it true that the first digit indicates how luxereous the set is? If so, the company has high standards!

This Object

I bought it cheaply and in good condition. I was at a fund raising fair when I read there was an auction as part of the activity. When I entered they just started to auction the only radio, and it took only one or two minutes to get it.
