The Design

Playing tapes and records is much more cumbersome than clicking some music file on the PC, so most tapes and records have disapeared to places where the sun never shines (boxes in attics).

For some popular tapes this is a waste! This little gem helps you to convert tapes to MP3 files. It turns out, however, that you need to install some software (like Audacity for example), and if that software is there, you can also do it without this machine, by just connecting old tape units to sound cards.

This Object

The quality of this Leitnar is not so good: tape speed is not sufficiently constant, so you get some audible frequency changes from time to time. If I had paids 50 buck for it (which I haven't), I would be quite disappointed.
