The Design

Nico Harteveld crafted reproductions of old reveivers as a hobby. The era in which these crystal receivers were actually seriously in use was the nineteen twenties.

This item contains some genuinely old parts (at least the tuning cap), but I think the coil and box were made later. The headpiece could also be more recent, like from the nineteen fifties. The inside reveals just a coil (with tap) and tuning cap, and a diode and condensator.

Disposed	Sold 5/2019.

This Object

The receiver works. It has a dial marked 30 to 100. At 40 I receive Radio Paradijs and at 55 I receive Groot Nieuws Radio (February 2016).
