The Design

Reception quality of this radio is quite good, especially on SW where the frame antenna can be erected. The audio quality can be described as "good for the era",but nowadays the standards are higher. The radio is a revised version of the L4X95T, fitted with antenna plug and connector for a pickup.

This Object

The serial number of this set is PL45009. The PL stands for Philips Leuven and indicates that the set was made in this Belgian city. I got it with a scrapper for spare parts, but didn't need any of these.
