Electrically the radio appears to be a by all means average 1965 portable. The folded dials were used in other radios, eg, this L2X52T of the same year. Here again the FM is in the front part, the radio tunes from 87.5 to 108 MHz. The funny thing about it is that it has two slide rule dials next to each other. The LW and MW dials are on top, but here the left dial is calibrated in kHz while the right one is in meters. Of course the radio mentions a lot of station names, as was usual in the era. The stations from Northern Europe (Scandinavia, Finland, North of Germany) are on the left dial, while those from the South of Europe (France, Italy, Austria, South of Germany) are on the right dial. The FM dial is on the front part and is simply duplicated: both dials are calibrated in MHz, but the left one carries the (German) abbreviation UKW and the right one the international FM.
