The Design
The radio has two MW ranges, there is a small part of the upper band spread out. This might be because of the popularity of regional radio around 1970: this part of the band, often marked OC (Ondes Communales) or Gew (Gewestelijk) was reserved for low power regional stations.

This Object
My parents bought this console new in 1970 and later it was given to me. When I moved to a smaller place we took the saw and modified the four legged console to a table model. Later when our son started to use it, it got its blue color. I scrapped it in 2000, after three decades of use by three generations.
