In several respects this radio breathes the spirit of a European radio made for export. The power supply has a wide range of AC voltages, starting as low as 90V, which is exceptional in Europe. The set does not have the Long Wave band but in stead has the Short Waves, this indicates that it was used in the Americas or Asia. The FM band tunes as high as 108 MHz, while in the fifties only the part up to 100 MHz was used in Europe. Finally, the dial does not list names of European radio stations, a thing which was very common with European radios.
The set was a cheapie in the Kringloopwinkel (recycle shop) but didnot play. When Lennart Benschop visited my place we repaired it, and he took it with him.
