The Design

During the seventies a lot of Soviet electronic equipment came to the West. At some time I heard that Western trading companies sometimes had to accept the stuff as payment for deliveries to the Soviet Union because after delivery (and consumption!) it turned out there was no money to pay. The Russian equipment was popular among hobbyists and ham amateurs, who could suddenly afford a laboratory they had never dreamt of before.

This Object

Received in return for the Philips GM2882 RF generator. My plan was to repair it and then sell it of or use it. But then I realized that I had two scopes already, and gave it to Paul and Paul.
