The Design

A kitchen radio is mounted under the kitchen cabinets. This one has digital storage of stations and RDS (shows station names and short text messages like song titles).

Obtained7/2014 from Kringloopwinkel Wegwijzer, sn=GS0802BK002079.
Condition9.
DisposedSold 2/2020.
Sound samplePLAY SOUND   While I was thinking how to mount my kitchen radio, Russian or pro-Russian rebels took down flight MH17, killing some 298 people.

This Object

After a year the radio needed repair and it turned out that one lead to the speaker was not soldered properly. In light of the amount of parts inside, they could have made the radio even smaller.

The power transformer has two secondary windings (yellow and white) and the semiconductor set includes two voltage stabilizers (78L05 and 78L09), so there seem to be two independent power supplies.
