In the nineteen sixties, building radios was still a popular timepassing. Of course, it was only for father and son, and mother had to watch and do the household in the meantime. The picture comes from an article in the review Funk Technik from 1963, about the Telefunken Kamarad.

The left edge is ripped of from the front and the decals are missing. Otherwise the radio looks nice and it is functional. Its elementary design provides only a single tuned circuit, without regeneration, which implies the selectivity isn't very good. The Funk Technik article, including this circuit diagram, was sent to me by Herr Johann Stadler.
