Inside is a small PCB with visible the microprocessor (upper side), FM tuner (right lower corner) and audio amplifier (left lower). Right of the speaker you can see the antenna wire. The radio sometimes exhibits bad reception, but when I open it a few times and close it again, without actually doing something, it performs well again.
