I am a postdoc at Utrecht University on my Veni grant "New methods in arithmetic statistics".

For an informal introduction to my research, Quanta Magazine wrote featured articles involving my work on Stevenhagen's conjecture and Hilbert's tenth problem.

I completed my PhD at Leiden University under the supervision of Jan-Hendrik Evertse and Peter Stevenhagen followed by postdocs at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn, the University of Michigan and ETH Zurich. My PhD thesis is freely available here. I am interested in number theory and surrounding areas, in particular the distribution of class groups and Diophantine equations.
