    The course will be given by Dr. Albert Ali Salah and Dr. Leimin Tian.

    Albert is professor of Social and Affective Computing at Utrecht University. He works on computer analysis of human behaviour, multimodal interaction, and affective computing. He has written over 250 scientific works in these areas, including an edited book entitled "Computer Analysis of Human Behavior". He was an associate editor of IEEE Trans. on Affective Computing, IEEE Trans. on Cognitive and Developmental Systems, and currently AE in Pattern Recognition, and Int. Journal of Human-Computer Studies; he serves in the steering boards of ACM ICMI and IEEE FG, and as VP Conferences of IEEE Biometrics Council. He is a senior member of IEEE and ACM, and was an Area Chair of ACII'22 and ACII’23.

    Leimin is a senior scientist and the leader of the Human-Robot Interaction team at CSIRO's Data61. Her research spans over human-robot interaction, human-centred AI, and affective computing. She focuses on developing robots that incorporate social-emotional intelligence to enhance communication and collaboration in various applications.
