Stefan Talke

Stefan received his PhD in 2005 from the University of California, Berkeley for work that concentrated on the hydrodynamics and sediment dynamics of an intertidal mudflat in the central San Francisco Bay.  Currently he is working as a post-doc in Huib de Swart's coastal group at the Institute for Atmospheric and Marine Sciences, Utrecht (IMAU).  He thoroughly enjoys working on the Ems estuary, which because of its high sediment concentrations poses unique measurement and modelling challenges.   Stefan also enjoys living in Utrecht very much.  For more information, see Stefan's homepage.

The ETM group is part of the coastal group of the physical oceanography section fo the Institute for Marine and Atmospheric Studies, Utrecht (IMAU).  The IMAU is part of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Utrecht, Netherlands.
