Announcements:
  • There was a typing error in the exam requirements. Chapter 3 of the book is not part of them.
  • Further down I have listed the precise requirements for the oral examinations that are to take place in January. If you have not yet made an appointment for such an exam, please contact me as soon as possible by email.
  • Exercise 2.18 turned out to be more difficult (hence more interesting) than I thought. See extra exercise E.24 for hints.
  • Start: The first lecture will be given on Wednesday, September 27, 10:00 - 13:00, Buys Ballot 107
  • Intensive reminder: On Tuesday, September 19, I will give a course in the Master Class series
    Intensive Reminder on Differential Geometry
    Location: Buys Ballot, 107A.
